Flourish & Knot is a full-service floral and event design studio serving the greater Montreal & Ottawa areas, including Gatineau, Montebello, and the Eastern Townships.
We design your florals with an emphasis on sustainability and Earth-consciousness. Our clients come to us for memorable, bespoke designs that haven’t been seen at their friends’ weddings, and an experience that is personalized and easy-going.
Florals brimming with seasonal blooms and abundant in fresh, relaxed elegance is our favourite aesthetic. Whether you are drawn to bright and vibrant colours or soft neutrals (or something in-between!), our painterly approach to colour palettes will bring depth and movement to your event design.

Sarah Burnell, Creative Director
Sarah mixes her wealth of creative knowledge and design skill with her love of organization and a good checklist. Her background as a musician inspires her to create artful, natural floral designs, while her training as an educator gives her her organizational superpowers.
Flowers spoke to Sarah when she tended her first garden. Since then, she has trained with some of the finest designers and business mentors. Sarah takes pleasure in dreaming up floral designs that are unique to each client, and that create an immersive experience for the senses. Each bloom and stem in her designs is carefully chosen and arranged in a way that celebrates and enhances their natural movement and texture.
When she isn’t busy creating floral magic for her clients, Sarah can be found working in her garden, spending time outdoors or in the kitchen with her family, and making music.
