The Story

Soft candlelight illuminates a deeply layered space, where a rich palette of marine blue, honey, and pomegranate creates a modern tapestry. Striking contrasts abound: crisp lucite chairs sit against opulent florals and burnished candelabras, while sumptuous velvet drapery meets a high-shine checkered floor.

Reminiscent of a Dutch Masters painting, the couple prepares for their nuptials in the soft morning light. The bride emerges in a luxurious swirl of silk and dramatic tulle, holding a classic, tone-on-tone bouquet of romantic red blooms.

Following an intimate ceremony, guests gather at a reception table laden with fine details and delectable fare. Here, contemporary lines are juxtaposed with a resplendent lavishness worthy of a Renaissance court, carrying the celebration into the soft light of dawn.

This romantic and dramatic intimate wedding editorial was inspired by Renaissance portraiture and still life.
