Colourful & modern wedding at Le Cathcart, Montreal

Claudia & Alex came to us with dreams of a bright, colourful, and vibrant wedding filled with local blooms and summery fruit. Set against the modern, neutral backdrop of Le Cathcart, their day was like a fresh summer spritz: joyful, sweet, colour-filled, and brimming with whimsical sparkle! 

Our favourite detail from this wedding has to be the bouquets – full of the most beautiful, end-of-summer blooms like zinnias, cosmos, and dahlias! All of the moms and bridesmaids carried chic, mono-floral posies.

For Claudia & Alex’s ceremony, we deliberately juxtaposed the sleek, industrial lines of downtown Montreal with a vibrant, artful palette of late-summer zinnias, garden roses, and fresh citrus elements to bring warmth and texture into the urban space.

Following the ceremony, the modern, colour-blocked arrangements were repurposed to decorate the stairs to the reception, and the dance floor. Tables were set with a minimalist feel, but the bright, summery florals brought a feeling of joy and freshness to their wedding at Le Cathcart.
