Sarah & Nick’s Montreal Old Port wedding was one of our favourites from 2022! It was brimming with beautiful details and elegant, old-world touches.
Sarah & Nick came to us to create a floral and design plan for their wedding in Montreal’s historic Old Port. The ballroom and rooftop ceremony space at the Hotel Place D’Armes presented some unique logistical and design challenges, which we were happy to tackle! Sarah and Nick wanted an effortless, garden-style vibe, that was elegant and upscale, while staying away from anything too “princessy” or overdone.
For their personal flowers, we kept things chic and yet relaxed. Beautiful, fully-open roses were the stars of the show, with accents of snowberry and olive foliage. Their ceremony design was focused on four large, tiered arrangements, with small foliage accents in the aisle.
The entrance to the reception featured a gorgeous seating card display, with family wedding photos, lots of florals (!), and candles. Guests then made their way into the reception, where three table styles added height and visual interest to the ballroom space. We brought in linens in a textured ivory, café latte peau de soie napkins, glass beaded charger plates, classic chiavari chairs, and elegant lounge furniture to complete the look.
The absolute best part of the day was seeing the look on Sarah and Nick’s faces when they saw the room for the first time! Pure joy.
