MN + W just celebrated their first anniversary, and their beautiful, bright, and cheerful June 2019 wedding day was one of my favourites from last season! Their romantic garden-style celebration was held at the charming Auberge Willow Inn in Hudson, QC. Here are all the elegant details from their Auberge Willow Inn wedding!

All these gorgeous photos are by Naomie Houle. She captured MN and W’s day so beautifully!

The inspiration for this celebration was rooted in a natural, garden style. (Pardon the pun!) MN came to me with a lot of flexibility; she really just gave me a palette and let me do my thing. That’s always so much fun! And since I love colour, her coral, pink, and orange palette was perfection.

Even though the ceremony and reception themselves were held indoors (at St Thomas Aquinas Church and in the Willow’s beautiful reception space), the day had a distinctly garden-y vibe. We kept the linens and other accents really simple and neutral, so that the bright, vibrant florals could shine!

I custom-sourced some laser-cut table numbers (which were soooo cute) from Christina’s Creations and sweet little live succulent favours from Annie Souvenirs. I love it when we can incorporate the favours into the table setting!

MN’s bouquet was one of my favourites from last season (I say that about every bouquet… but it was!). The combination of (locally-grown) raspberry-coloured peonies, coral-peach Kahala roses, and orange Icelandic poppies was just sublime. (If I say so myself!)

We kept the aisle markers simple, with a mixture of fluffy white hydrangea, Italian ruscus, and locally-grown bridal wreath spirea.

Can’t forget MN’s stunning floral fascinator comb! This was one of my favourite floral accessories to date. I feel like fresh florals are just one of the most romantic hair accessories a bride can choose. And what’s so special is that no-one will ever have the same look! I made W’s boutonnière to co-ordinate, and it had a stem of lily of the valley in it – a rare luxury in early June.

Congratulations on a year of marriage, MN+W! Here is to many more years of happiness and health. I hope you enjoyed all the details from their Auberge Willow Inn wedding.
