Nadine and Phil’s September 2022 wedding at L’espace Canal in Montreal was brimming with fine details, French garden vibes, and romance. What originally began as an October 2021 celebration in burgundies and caramel tones morphed – thanks to you-know-what – into a chic-yet-whimsical early September fête in the prettiest pinks and white. It was all captured superbly by Agatha Rowland, who we were absolutely delighted to work with!

The couple wanted their wedding to feel fresh and natural, with the refined elegance of a French garden. We incorporated lots of locally-grown flowers, including the most gorgeous double lisianthus I have EVER worked with. Hands-down a favourite bloom of the 2022 season!

Because Phil and Nadine booked so far in advance of their final wedding date, we had the opportunity to really get to know each other along the way. In fact, Nadine and I were both pregnant at the same time, and gave birth just a week apart! Getting to flower their big day, and see their beautiful family celebrated was a highlight of the season.

We worked with ceramic vessels, paired with clear glass and soft gold accents. One of my favourite details was the Grecian bust arrangement we made as a surprise for the bar!

The ceremony was a beautiful focal point of the day. We worked on the Victorian gazebo to create a French garden wedding vibe. The combination of elegant draping and romantic florals really softened the stone and wrought iron gazebo structure.

Phil and Nadine’s L’espace Canal wedding was definitely one of my most cherished designs from 2022!
